Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade represents the Republic of North Macedonia abroad, advances Euro-Atlantic integration, expands trade ties, and protects citizens overseas.

Mandate

The Ministry leads bilateral and multilateral relations, coordinates foreign trade policy, and oversees the diplomatic and consular network of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Priorities

EU and NATO commitments, regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, economic diplomacy, and consular protection of Macedonian citizens abroad.

Structure

The Ministry is led by the Minister, supported by the Deputy Minister and State Secretary, and organized into directorates covering policy, consular, legal, and trade affairs.
